LMI restored the fabric-covered rudder,
elevators, and ailerons in their Pooler
facility; reconfigured the bomb bay doors;

dome fairing in their St. Louis facility;
donated raw material to fabricate parts
and provided heat treatment for them.
Through LMI’s corporate connections John
Calvert had Nordam (a Gulfstream window

lend us "cherry-picker" lifts when we need
to access high points on the aircraft.

Original B17 landing lights could only be
turned on while the aircraft was flying
because without constant cooling airflow
they would overheat and burn-out. Baja
Designs supplied low amperage landing
lights that generate significantly less
heat, yet provide the same illumination.

Altis Aero Systems has provided advice
and support relative to the re-wiring of
aircraft electrical systems and avionics.
